Are drone deliveries safe?

We adhere to and comply with all aviation regulations and guidelines governing drone operations. We work closely with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and other safety regulators to constantly develop and improve our operations. Rest assured, our drones are equipped with state-of-the-art collision avoidance systems and monitored by experienced pilots in the case of any emergencies.
Are our drones loud or noisy?

We understand the importance of minimizing noise impact on the communities we serve. Our drones operate at a noise level of around 50 dBA, making them nearly inaudible and far quieter than passing cars or ambient city levels.
Do the drones land at my house?

Unlike traditional deliveries, our drones do not land at individual homes or yard areas. Our drones hover at a significant altitude to ensure both safety and privacy. Upon arriving at the drop-off location, the drone will automatically lower the package via a secure tether. Once the package has been safely delivered, the tether retracts, and the drone resumes flight autonomously.
What weather conditions can we operate in? What happens when there is bad weather?

Our drones are equipped to handle rain, wind, cold temperatures, and other challenging weather scenarios that might impede traditional automotive transport. Advanced sensors and technology enable our drones to operate safely in rain and windy conditions, ensuring timely and safe delivery of your orders. In the event of extreme weather conditions rendering drone delivery unsafe, we offer the option for packages to be delivered via car. This ensures that, despite adverse weather affecting drone operations, we can still provide a reliable and alternative means to deliver your orders promptly.
How fast are our drones?

Our drones are equipped with impressive speed capabilities, flying at speeds of up to 60 miles per hour. While the average delivery time can vary based on the specific address, our drones are capable of completing deliveries within a matter of minutes, significantly reducing the time it takes to receive your orders.
Are our drones completely autonomous?

Before each delivery, our trained crew members handle the loading and launching of the drones. They ensure that the orders are securely loaded and that the drones take off safely. Our drones are then designed to fly autonomously during the delivery process. Once launched, they navigate their designated routes using advanced GPS and sensor technology.
Does Kyte have approval to fly?

Yes - We have worked closely with the regulators to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and have obtained the necessary approvals for our current operations. We are actively working with the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) to expand our operations in the near future. Our goal is to bring the benefits of drone delivery to more areas, and we are dedicated to following all necessary procedures and guidelines as we expand our services.
